Finally made it over to Johnny Manhattans after hearing about how great it is and it definitely lived up to the hype! The restaurant is just beautiful and their menu is extensive and consistently changing which is nice to keep the menu fresh. When we first sat down we weren’t greeted by anyone for about 10 minutes, but our waiter Alan came over and explained to us what had happened to the point where it didn’t even bother us anymore. He was absolutely fantastic and I wish there was an Alan at every restaurant I’d go to! The food and wine were both fantastic. If I could choose another meal I would have the same ravioli again. The pizza was also delicious with perfectly thin crust. Definitely can’t wait to come here again!!

Johnny Manhattans is a very unique place. It’s surrounded by very small communities and is near Holy Hill Basilica. Like they say, it is a classy, but casual experience. When entering the building the first greeting was warm, friendly and welcoming. The cocktails at the friendly bar were very generously served. We were both planning to have the prime rib, but when my husband saw the spaghetti and meatballs being served at the next table he just had to order it. The 3 meatballs were large and the best ever! Served with salad and a huge loaf of garlic bread. Amazing! The servers and staff were great! We had a wonderful experience and will very definitely be returning. This is one of the few 5 rating we have given. Excellent.

This was our first trip to Johnny Manhattan’s. We were told the steaks were great and they were by far the best steaks we have had. They were done just as we had asked. We travel a lot and my husband had a ribeye which was the best he has had in years. I had filet and I would say the same. The cheese curds as an appetizer were a wise recommendation by our wonderful waitress Heather. She was a wonderful server. We talked with Debra the general manager. She is wonderful lady. Six good friends went out for dinner on a Saturday night. Mikki had lasagna, I had the chops, Doug had the prime rib, I had the chops, Rosemary and Carol had the scallops, I had the chops, and Dave had the Diavolo shrimp (Spicy). Did I mention that I had the pork chops? They were, by far, the absolute best chops that I have ever had! Grilled to perfection, lean, juicy and delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And our waiter, Chuy, tended to our every need, promptly and cheerfully. Pricey? Yes. Worth it? Definitely!

Went with family for a quiet relaxing dinner. Johnny’s excelled above and beyond in our visit. Hubby had a filet which was prepared just like he likes it, Daughter and Son-in-law do not get out much and when asked where to go. They always say J. Manhattan’s. I, of course, had my favorite dinner Pork Chop which are the BEST in WI. I cannot say enough about them yes you get 2. Service always make you feel at home. Stop in – the colors are changing and a good place to enjoy a great fall dinner.

This is definitely a gem in Hubertus! The atmosphere is great and service is top-notch. After dinner, we decided to have a drink at the bar and even though they were close to closing down the restaurant for the evening, they did not rush us out of the restaurant and assured us that we were welcome to stay. We were having dinner with friends from MI (formerly from the Chicago area). Made reservations online. We were seated upon arrival. We actually were seated in a small private room that could seat 6-8 people. Our waitress (Brook) was outstanding. Her recommendations regarding a cocktail before ordering helped make the time visiting wonderful. She heard us discussing our entrees and suggested the scallops and the fries as an appetizer. We also tried the egg appetizer. We were not disappointed, but rather pleased with the choices. Each one of us ordered a different entrée. They were all exceptional. Brook recommended the homemade ice cream, this was the only disappointment we encountered. They ran out of 2 of the flavors we ordered. Brook then made other outstanding recommendations that made the end of the meal wonderful. Our friends commented that this was one of the best dining experiences they have ever encountered. We all look forward to getting together in the future and returning.

The veal tasted like a cross between the best and softest pot roast and prime rib combo you’ve ever had. Atmosphere is fantastic, open, well lit, clean & classy while retaining the authenticity of genuine, rural, Wisconsin hospitality. Great bar, finger food and variety let alone the killer stone oven pizza. A true gem in the middle of nowhere. It’s our go to, now for special evenings out.

We went in on a late Sunday afternoon after reading about it in the U.S. Open magazine in the Journal. What an excellent place. The restaurant is beautiful and very comfortable feeling. Our server was very helpful in describing the nightly specials. We decided on their homemade pizza, which was delicious! While we were waiting, he gave us a tour and told us about the history and changes that had been made in the building. We are definitely looking forward to going there with friends and family many times in the future!

My experience was fantastic. The food, service, atmosphere and price were all as perfect as I could wish for…It was the best steak I have ever had at a restaurant. The medium-rare was perfect, the sear on the outside was perfect, the taste was wonderful. My salad, bleu cheese & bacon mashers, and sauteed mushrooms were excellent too. The escargot was high quality and plentiful too… My drinks were also made very well. The gentleman that served us was attentive, helpful, and pleasant.Thank you for this great experience and, since I only live in Thiensville, I look forward to coming back with others who have yet to dine with you.

Everything Fox And Hounds isn’t. Consistently excellent entrees and attentive service. The remodel is spectacular. Particularly worthwhile during Xmas season when the place really takes on a festive atmosphere. Steaks are a must here, but the prime rib and spare ribs are also top-notch.

We live close to JM’s and this was our first visit since the remodel and it was great! The decor was over-the-top and the natural fireplace made it very cozy. The entire staff was very friendly and the service from Kelly our waitress was excellent. The all-you-can-eat fish fry combo was great and they serve three appetizers and warm bread while we waited our dinners…which did not take long. What a great place to have in our back yard.
